Design and Fabrication of Overdrive Enhancer for Four Wheeler

Overdrive enhancer with all other equipment’s mounted on the supporting frame

TECHNICAL BENEFITS:

  • OVERDRIVE ENHANCER overcomes the problem called back emf(Electro Motive Force) in case of electric vehicles.
  • The device OVERDRIVE ENHANCER is designed to optimize the need of engine to drive the vehicle by equipping it in drive line (power flow line) of vehicle for both the domestic and electrical segments
  • It saves the fuel by modifying the fuel supply to the engines on basics of velocity of vehicle.
  • By equipping in electric and solar based renewable powered vehicles they can accelerate to top speed with the same motor power.
  • Our device has maximum gear ratio of 1:5 (third gear ratio) and overdrive the vehicle from third gears onwards.

ECONOMIC BENEFITS:

  • By engaging overdrive enhancer in high speed gears, it will reduce the consumption of fuel.
  • After installing, this device helps in running the low speed transmission vehicles like High speed transmission vehicles. So, the low speed transmission vehicles runs at high speed which prevents the consumer to buy the high speed transmission vehicles at high price.

Versatile Hydraulic Jack for Rapid Tyre Change and Maintenance

  • Developing a compact versatile hydraulic unit that can be fitted to car chassis for rendering the tyre change operations
  • The idea is based on converting a fraction of the mechanical energy obtaining from rotating crank shaft into hydraulic actuation by virtue of which the deflated tyres can be lifted off the ground with the push of a button
  • Typically manual tyre changing procedures have to use screw jack and consumes more time
  • The Maruti 800 is a Hatchback with 5 seater capacity. It is one of the best among various cars. Maruti 800 comes with Manual Petrol and CNG Engines. The Engine Displacement of the Petrol engine is 796 cc. It comes with the Manual Transmission.
  • The developed system will be integrated in a car(Maruti) and real-time tyre change operation will be demonstrated

Design and Fabrication of Cost-effective Improved Biomass Cook Stove for Domestic Utility

Technical benefits

  • The prototypes have been designed considering the factors like performance, affordability, usability, durability and safety. Locally available materials were used during the fabrication.
  • Natural Draft Biomass Cook-Stove: A natural draft biomass cook stove is designed for the domestic utility. A charcoal holder is also provided for the use of charcoal or pallet. Grates and combustion chamber are provided with air vents for the circulation of primary air and secondary air respectively. A wood feeder is provided to accommodate wood and for easy feeding to combustion chamber. The designed and fabricated products are shown in the following pictures.

Bi-Gender Electro Magnetic Machine (KINOSTAT)

Technical Innovation

  • Kinostatpolydynamo armature , polymotor armature stamping of integrating with shaft and caging with bearings with pulleys was designed for construction of KINOSTAT as power amplifier with newly invented Polymotor and Poly dynamo.
  • The invented Monogender electro electromagnetic devices motors were used to identifying male and female gender
  • Both Motor and Dynamo were used independently
  • Working model / prototype development with other activities was developed by Fabrication, turning, welding, sheet rolling, partial testing and construction process and partial travelling etc.

Design and Development of Low-cost Concentrated Photovoltaic Power Plant with Low-cost Tracking System

  • Fabrication of low cost tracking system to track all the beams of Solar Photovoltaic panels with single system using parallel beam coupling wires.
  • Fabrication low cost effective cooling system for the photovoltaic panels.
  • Establishment of 5KW Concentrated Solar Photovoltaic power plant by assembling all the components of the solar photovoltaic power plant.
  • Testing of the Solar photovoltaic power plant for evaluating the performance.

Validation of Single Device for Detection of Malaria, Chikungunya and Dengue

Malaria, Dengue, and Chikungunya are highly prevalent diseases in India and several other emerging countries. Absence of instant diagnostics lead to inaccurate diagnosis, untimely treatment & increased economic burden to the patient. ASSURED kit tests all three at one go in 10 minutes, detecting co-infections, significantly improving on time and convenience without compromising on quality and accuracy in half the cost. ASSURED offers several benefits over competitors and there is nothing like this product in the market today. Metal nanoparticles based vertical flow immuno dot technology MINIMIZES ERROR: Highly sensitive (100%) >97% specific. Ability to detect Co-infection, which is the major challenge in INDIA. Reduction of two-third medical waste, leading to lesser environmental pollution. As per market research expected revenue INR 88 Cr to INR 120 Cr. ASSURED offers benefits to patients, doctors, pathology labs, and the overall healthcare system. Product is ready for Manufacturing as per the regulatory requirements. Work will be done under AMELIORATE BIOTECH PVT. LTD, which is led by two IITians very capable to bring the product to the market.

Development of Biomarker-based Diagnostic Kit for the Diagnosis of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome

  • Respiratory disorder due to acute inflammatory process of the lungs
  • Lung injury, critically ill patients, caused by pneumonia / toxic gas inhalation / sepsis / trauma
  • Overall mortality between 35% to 50% patients
  • Early detection reduces mortality
  • Biomarkers for ARDS reported
  • Our attempt:
    • Identification and Cross validation of the best marker in terms of relevance to ARDS
    • Standardization of qRT-PCR based detection protocol and
    • Validation within samples

ECONOMIC BENEFITS:

  • ARDS continues to be a major cause of morbidity and mortality in the critically ill.
  • The present study will provide clinicians with a possibility to diagnose an early, reversible stage of ARDS, start prompt treatment and decrease the duration of artificial pulmonary ventilation by 4-7 days
  • Reduce ICU stay by 5-6 days and the hospital stay by 10 days
  • Reduce pulmonary complications by 35% and the mortality by 30%
  • Early detection reduces mortality

Novel and intelligent drip bio fertigation high-end monitoring and controlling system for agronomical practices under protected crop culture based on wireless sensor network

Innovator: Murugaanandam

Communication between the sensor nodes and the WLAN gateway is through Sub GHz RF signals. Sensor node broadcast sensor data at a specific frequency which will be decoded by the respective gateway channels. Up to 90 channels can be used for each gateway.

Collects data from Sensor Nodes and validates with rule specific for each sensor parameter; Sends ACKs on received sensor data to the respective DAQ Sensor modules.

Works with uniquely coded data structure using SensIF protocol standards

Sends data to the Internet Controller thru Serial bus
